The treatment of Internal and External Dragons taps into an ancient lineage of Chinese Medicine. Although we often don't feel comfortable using such terms in our current milieu, the treatment is used for possession, to expel demons and ghosts, negative spirits and external entities such as parasites. These can manifest as anything from obsessions, addictions, to erratic and inappropriate behaviour and diagnosed mental illness. The following is an account of such a treatment. It should be noted that not every person is psychic enough to perceive what is occurring in such a detailed fashion; each person will experience the treatment in their own way.

Internal Dragons.
(Once all of the needles were in) "I asked for healing and help. It came.
The first sensation was of gentle waves passing through my body, back and forth, like ocean tides in water. Then I felt a very strong energy, like a buzzing or vibrating sensation around my whole head and neck, around my throat. It was very strong and tangible.

And then, I sensed a being, a person, behind me and these hands begin hold my head with fingers touching around the base of my skull. I was being given a crania-sacral treatment! This was utterly unexpected yet I could feel the energy of this being and for me, the main thing was to really learn to just let go and trust and let go of my head into this person's hands and let them work.

At one point the sensation of this faded and changed into a different being, who seemed to swoosh energy from the top of my body to my toes and back again. It went opposite my breathing so when I breathed in, it would be coming up. When I breathed out, it would be going down.

Then it went back to the craniosacral treatment again. Eventually it felt complete and I called for the needles to be taken out.

After the treatment I felt really cleansed. Like I had had a real crania-sacral treatment I suppose. I could feel that the inside of my body felt cleansed. I also felt prepared for the External dragon treatment, which is what I sensed I really really needed.""

This treatment lasted 20 minutes from all the needles being placed in and held and the patient requesting them to be removed.

External Dragons.
For the External Dragons, at the patient's request this was done immediately afterwards as the patient knew that they needed this. The needles for this are on the back of the person.

" I lay on my front and as soon as the first needles started going in from the top, I noticed this feeling of aggression and anger within me. I just noted it but it didn't go away. It stayed for the whole time that the needles were being put in. After they're all in, all the needles on my right hand side felt insanely itchy and there was this desire to just take them out so I could scratch at those points. I noticed this but resisted although I really wanted to ask for them to be taken out so I could itch!

And then it happened.

This Chinese general appeared.

This big, strong Chinese general dressed in red with this huge army behind him, absolutely invincible, Red Army behind him appeared and he marched up through my body, from my toes, up through my entire body. There was just this feeling of absolute, sheer military might, unstoppable, powerful, invincible.

And then there was a sensation of a black army. And they fought.

But the fight didn't last very long,

The General and his Red Army fought and quickly vanquished this Black Army, or this black general, this black being, and I then saw this spiralling, swirling, black thing, made of ink or liquid, kind of like a wraith or something from Lord of the Rings, that kind of thing, coming up and out of my left hand side, and once it was out, it disappeared from my consciousness.

And then, my whole body sighed and completely relaxed. I felt like I had become completely flat on the treatment couch so relaxed did I become. I lay there for a short time but I knew it was over.

I asked L to take out the needles and I went into Childs pose to stretch my back and oddly, the general was still in my body. I could feel him there clear as day. He stayed for a few more minutes and then I stretched up and out and my body felt completely different. "

This patient's physical symptoms almost entirely disappeared immediately and within a few days had gone completely. Mentally and emotionally the person felt different straight away. They felt clearer, lighter, relaxed, a little tired after the treatment but mentally alert in a way that they hadn't done for some time. They later reported a feeling of 'a sense of something that used to be there in my but now isn't, its just gone'. In this context that would be a felt sense of a parasite or demon (call it what you like) having been exorcised.

The imagery is fascinating. The patient talked about the feeling of invincibility of the Chinese General. I take this to be the Virtue of the Heavens, who is 'right' because he is in harmony with the Tao. That the patient had some imagery I believe clearly illustrates that this treatment taps into a genuine connection of ancient Chinese spirit energy that is more than capable to assisting us when we need this treatment.
