I work with those looking for support with their current spiritual practice, with anyone who wishes to work deeply on resolving personal traumas or with anyone interested in exploring personal development work.
Although acupuncture is a subtle energy based therapy, rarely is it focussed specifically on supporting our spiritual development or used to assist us in our own personal growth. It was this gap that I perceived early on in my training and at around the same time, Mikio Sankey began publishing his work now known as Esoteric Acupuncture. I qualified in Acupuncture in 2002 after training at two colleges in the South of England and I began offering this style of treatment shortly after I graduated.
Following on from my own years of practice in meditation and Western Mystery Traditions, my offering has now evolved to also include using what are known as the 'Eight Extraordinary Meridians' alongside the Esoteric Acupuncture. These help to ground the more rarified energies of the patterns used in Esoteric Acupuncture. They also work on a very deep level to restore our physical, emotional and mental health and balance. I also use more ancient patterns such as 'Dragons' and 'Ghost Points', to help clear our minds and souls from obsessions and stagnations and help bring clarity to our path. Hence the name for my practice of Transformative Acupuncture.
Ultimately, this is about supporting our own personal development and transformation to enable each of us to better assist our own evolution and that of humanity. True change only really happens when enough individuals evolve to a state that then affects the rest of our human family. Today, I believe that humanity is in true need of awakened individuals and this is my reason for offering this practice.
I am a member of the Acupuncture Regulatory Authority and the British Register of Complementary Practitioners. Membership is only open to those who have studied to Degree level and have been certified as qualified to practice in a safe and knowledgable manner.
